 We share our adventures of the wonders of Southeast Asia. We marvel at the dazzling city lights of Kuala Lumpur and experience the joy of tasting local delicacies in Penang. We climb the ancient steps of Chiang Mai's temples and find peace amidst its beautiful landscapes. Unforgettable memories were created in Luang Prabang, where time seems to slow down just for us. And, of course, we stood in awe of the majestic Angkor Wat, a site that left us breathless. Join us as we explore these magical places, hand in hand, one adventure at a time. 

A dream week for us as we take our grandchildren to the Big Island of Hawaii.  We visit the volcano, swim in the warm waters, eat wonderful local food and, of course, shave ice!

 Italy has always been on our back burner because we think that the secret to travel success is to not do what everyone else is doing.  And everyone else is going to Italy.  But when the Ryder Cup was set for Rome in 2023, we figured why not?  There's a reason everyone goes to Italy and as much as we dislike tourist crowds, this seemed to be the right time. 

From the bustling city of Capetown to a safari at Aquila Game Reserve to golfing in Hermanus to cruising around the Cape Peninsula...  South Africa was a destination that blew us away!

We had always talked about a trip to Portugal but whenever we started looking for overseas trips, somehow Portugal never made the list.  Every major retirement website or article always lists Portugal as one of the top retirement destinations in the world.  That's probably what kept catching our eye.  After traveling to Spain and falling in love with Spain, Portugal intrigued us. 

  In the travels we've done, almost every place we'd like to go back again.  And there are a few places that everyone should experience at least once in their lives.  Paris, the Cotswolds, Shanghai, Spain.  And add to that list Prague.  This city greeted us with open arms and simply enraptured us.  We fell in love during the first hour here and it never stopped. 

 Berlin, Germany's vibrant capital, is a city that seamlessly blends history, innovation, and artistic expression. Known for its dynamic atmosphere. From the iconic Brandenburg Gate to the remnants of the Berlin Wall, the city is a living museum, rich with stories that shaped world history. 

From Beijing to Xi'an to Shanghai, we spent a couple of weeks in China before the explosion of tourism.  We visited the major sites, ate the local food and learned a tremendous amount.

Part of our road trip through western Europe, included a 4 day stay in Paris.  Being our first time, all we had to go on was the images we had gathered from TV and movies.  Oh, trust me on this one, the real Paris is so, so, so much better!

A wonderful drive down the Rhine River stopping in big cities and small towns... and, of course, German food!

Before Vietnam was inundated with tourists, we spent a heavenly 10 days in 2012.

No kids, no grandkids, just Sonja and I for an unforgettable week in Maui.  From sunrise at Haleakala to playing one of the most famous golf courses in the world... it was a week to remember.

A fascinating city, Munich is a city of smiles, laughter, music and incredible food.

Time to get real.  One of the more somber parts of our travel is the remnants of how evil people can be.  Dachau is one of those places.  The horrors of what happened here, seep into your bones.  Very sobering.

Today, it's one of the most popular tourist locations in Vietnam.  In 2012, it was just being discovered and our time there was magical.  From the $35/night 4 star hotel to some of the best food we've ever eaten.  Hoi An is special.
